Established Gardener required

Hi, I know I've asked this before, but been let down. I'm looking for recommendations - need a gardener who knows what he's doing and will turn up when he promises to. I've got a rhododendron that's about 20feet high that needs trimming right down, then a garden full of established plants/shrubs that have all become overgrown so basically everything needs a really good tidy. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance

So after 2 days not one reply - evidently there are no gardeners in Southport. What a waste of time

Probably more a question of the combination of tumbleweed and echo chamber that Qlocal has become. Is there a Nextdoor group in Southport - they tend to be much more useful.

We are also being told that migrants are taking all these jobs, but my experience is that it is as difficult as ever to find a decent tradesman. A large city just down the road has the highest youth unemployment in the UK and merseyside as a whole could fill a football ground with the unemployed. Can't any of them do what is actually a fairly basic gardening job ?
