Historic Buildings
The Liverpool Newspaper has published pictures of some really fantastic, iconic Liverpool buildings that have been pulled down and demolished.
Lovely tourist attractions have and are disappearing all across the UK.
The old buildings were built with no expense spared, several have marble stone and beautiful stone carvings, wood carvings etc., and the architects of the time had real imagination. The builders were highly professional and the work was superb. The present times and the future mean that such buildings will never be built like this again.
Surely money available for regeneration should include renovating such buildings, and regenerating areas sympathetic with those buildings to provide each city with its own individual character?

Have you got a linky?
Spent last weekend in London.
The beautiful iconic St Pancras Station is amazing and saved by a poet.

Seriously though - yes, that is a really fabulous building, St. Pancreas - what a very sad day it would be if all these iconic buildings were to disappear completely?
