    Hot Weather Hot Tempers

Noticing an increase in bad-tempered driving with the warmer weather yesterday.....

Very close tailgating, forcing way past parked cars in face of oncoming traffic, not backing down on single-track roads, tyre-screeching, etc. Some people need to chill, before there's an accident!

All the occasional cyclists are out in London - slow, no road sense, no sense of urgency. Really not a place for the casual cyclist.

You said that very well, and I agree.

Orwell said "If there is hope, it lies in the proles." Whilst champagne socialists see diversity idealised at university, the common folk experience it first hand in their neighbour hoods.

I have to agree with you. It does not seem to matter what PNP has to say, the trolls are down on him like a ton of bricks. It does stink of victimisation and I do wish it would stop.
I got so fed up of it a while back that I didn’t log on to Q local for months. I recently came back (well you have to don’t you? I’d had my fill of a ‘Sandbrook’ resident’s rants and free promotion of Pine Poxies)
Alas the first PNP post I have seen lately has met with the usual unpleasantness. Whether you agree with him or not, we should all be treated with respect not abuse.

His view on anyone who uses a motor vehicle is about as biased as your view on the Labour Party. He gets stick because he is a half wit if he posted anything mildly constructive it would be The First.

The original post seemed to be a reasonable one. There was no bias, just a comment on what was happening, and observations made. By contrast your remarks seem to show considerable bias.

Funny isn't it that he MEETS a LOT of bad tempered drivers and yes I am biased against anything the fool posts. When he starts recognising that SOME drivers are idiots instead of his ALL drivers stance then he may not draw so much flak.

He has been quiet the last few weeks I suppose the psychiatrist must have released him back into the world to carry on his luddite campaign.

My post above is based on the fact that he has no respect for any motorist , they are all bad drivers , but he fails to say anything about cyclist who persistently abuse the Highway Code . I've no other issues with PNP other than that .

what you avin a p/take .couple huors break from rain an chills ,equals hot weather rage! it probably is more to do with the weathers instability and constantly changing temps and humidities over mere hours,in the day that's the wearing factor.those of uf sufferers of fybro cfs and ms amongst other similar afflictions will attest, the current weather patterns are more than making its fluctuations felt.ad in all the rest of the daily social morays thrust on the rest ,an it don't make for an easy day for most.aall are stressed to a point so stuff don't always make for the perfect encounter with our fellow traveller to those under the impression their perfection of behaviour .

Do you not refer to ALL cyclists in the same way? Anyway, I thought the guy also drives a vehicle - so he cannot mean all drivers unless he includes himself.

Talking of which, I was out driving yesterday and on no fewer than three separate occasions, I had a car cut out in front of me from a side street - each driver having a lack of patience! A woman driver having too much patience and hesitating for too long at a junction while I was behind her. A group of people out with dogs on a country lane, with the dogs running wild and the people were walking on the wrong side of the road, and a team of lycra clads hairing it along some very narrow roads, causing the traffic to stop. You have got to have more than patience on our roads today!
