Me too actually! Although maybe 14-16 when I would have said no.

I was having a similar discussion about boys and girls yesterday. During a conversation with some Mums regarding my daughter point blank refusing to EVER go to Greenbank, as she wants to go to Birkdale, we moved on to the topic of clothes. I have noticed with my tomboy daughter, the 'boys' things now come in pink, which she won't wear, such as paw patrol, or dinosaur clothing! She wants the boys ones in 'boys colours', she doesn't like pink so won't wear the pink version. Absolutely fine by me, I could care less what she chooses to wear. However, my youngest son likes quite a few 'girls' cartoons, such as Shimmer and shine as he likes the music, he has Autism. I have noticed, none of the 'girls' programmes do clothes for boys!
Why do they ALL do girls clothes, but not boys? Neither my son nor my daughter want to wear pink. I've never been an advocate for gender neutral, as I've never had any reason to think about it, but now I'm seriously wondering why it's still pink or blue. I keep reading and hearing 'it's gone too far' or 'this is madness'. I agree it is madness, that for some reason boys can't like a cartoon targeted at girls or they will have to wear pink, and if girls like a boys cartoon, they too should have the pink version of it.
My daughter has a girls Spiderman dress, I can't find a boys wonderwoman pant suit though, I've never seen Princess Sofia clothing in boys or Doc Mcstuffins, despite there being male characters that boys may like. (the wonderwoman is a bit tongue in cheek, to make my point, I don't actually want one)!
It seems to be more of a 'girls thing' than a boys these PC changes. There was a school recently in the news, all the boys wore skirts to school, I re-call the same protest at my school, all us girls turned up in pants, they eventually changed the rule to allow it. So many things are changing for girls, they're getting the best of both, whilst I feel the boys are lagging behind in some respects.
