They do have a legal right to come to the UK via the European Resettlement Scheme.

The vast majority of those who acquired citizenship of a EU member state in 2016 were previously citizens of a non-EU country—nearly a third of new EU citizens were Moroccans, Albanians, Indians, Pakistanis, and Turks. In fact, the European nation granted citizenship to more people than any other country in the 28-nation bloc. More than 200,000 people were given Italian citizenship that year, accounting for 20% of the EU total."

This no one will know for sure

Hard for a year or two???? Even the Medieval Mogg is stating 15-20 years and even up to 50 years before we see the full benefits.
Can you not visualize what the future will be by staying ?
Return to the EU will be on EU terms only, which will Schengen, the Euro, probably loss of veto and seats in parliament, leaving the EU is effectively a one way street.Again, you can't predict what could be in the future. The trickle of illegal migrants, arriving to Greece, France, and Italy is only a beginning of a severe breakdown of controlling those boats from Libya.
My daughter in London, is at the moment going through a huge house renovation..the work was taken on by a well known architect and building contractor, who promised first class skilled workers.
The work started 8 months ago and will , God willing be finished
next June 2019. ( 8 months over the promised dates)
The workers are mostly non Brits, hopelessly ignorant of building and construction work.
A lot of the work had to be repeated, further expense...the building contractor insisted they were the best.

Not the best, simply the cheapest as far as the contractor is concerned.

She is trying to delay and delay until Parliament are faced with her deal or no deal, which is the only way to get her deal through, sounds very controlling and almost dictatorial.

Let's see how this vote of no confidence goes.

The deal will not get MP's approval, regardless of when it is voted on imo. Which (even if the leave date is extended or there's a general election) only leaves three possible alternatives:

    1) Leave with a no-deal.......Parliament takes us out of EU with a no-deal. This causes significant economic damage/loss of jobs etc - and brings great recriminations down on MP's for messing up.

    2) Staying in.....Parliament votes to remain, which brings public outrage down on MP's.

    3) MP's can't contemplate facing the consequences for either of the above, so pass the buck back to the public. We end up with a 'second referendum'....result unknown, but it would undoubtedly be binding.

No confidence vote not being given time like tomorrow. Theresa the weasle is losing the plot. None of this is for the best for the UK sadly.

Bad deal will never go through.

If we spoke more of walk away with no deal would the EU change their stance? Instead of walking all over the UK

Looking in from a long way outside with no opinion, one way or the other. I keep getting the impression when reading the news that Theresa May is really a closet remainer and is surreptitiously throwing spanners in the works. Am I right, or wrong?

She's an out and out remainer. No secret there.
But she stood up when all the Brexit ministers bottle went. She has a thankless task, but she is doing an amazing job of making it as bad as possible. Still more guts that any of the other ministers.

Thanks for that and, I'm sure that there are many other expats with the same impressions as me. I certainly don't envy her, her job.

The no confidence vote is only against May, not the government. Even if it takes place, it carries no weight - it's just parliamentary games by Corbyn, who hasn't got the bottle to move for a no confidence vote in the government, partly because he might lose a General Election, and partly because, if he won, he'd inherit the whole Brexit mess. He just wants it to look like he's presenting a credible opposition.

Corbyn has always been a 'sniper' from behind the barricades - not a leader. The Labour luvvies voted for the wrong Miliband brother imho.

Yep another spineless effort from a pathetic Labour leader and toothless opposition. What a sorry state we are in.

Yeah, She is in an impossible position. Not a cat in hells chance of getting a worthwhile deal. So many versions of Brexit flying around everyone thinking their version is the best version. An incompetent government and opposition. Unsolvable issues like the Irish boarder.
