New Rail Compo Package for the North

Now they are taking the P!$$ !

But if you're busting with excitement you'll have to hang on until next week to take advantage of it!

Toilets at Manchester Piccadilly will be free to use from next week as the industry's way of wishing its beleaguered passengers a 'Merry Christmas'.

Network Rail said scrapping the 30p charge was the first passenger improvement resulting from a £15m government benefits package for Northern and TransPennine customers, which was announced last week by rail minister Andrew Jones.

The move, which will also see charges axed at Liverpool Lime Street and Leeds stations, has been described by Network Rail boss Martin Frobisher as a 'long over-due Christmas present' for passengers in the north.

Feels great compared to the EXTRA £2billion being thrown down the oversized rat hole being dug under London.
