Overnight car parking near Preston Station

Has anyone used overnight car parking near to Preston Station and if so whereabouts and would you recommend it? I have tried to book car parking at the station because the last time we travelled we couldn't get on the car park and nearly missed our train. However, there is a problem with the online booking system (confirmed by Virgin) and I really don't want to take the risk of not getting in the station car park. Thanks

Morrisons car-park at Preston Dock is ok for overnight parking, simply blend in with stores staff cars. You would however have to take a bus or taxi to the station, or walk (10+mins) if time allows.

Pay & Display on Christian Road. It’s right next to the station. It’s not very big, 50-60 cars maybe and does fill up after 9am.

If you want a multi storey - then the bus station is £6 for 24 hours and only a short walk away.

Or the Market Hall muti storey also at £6 for 24 hours.

Otherwise there is the open one on Church Street at £5 for 24 hours
