The appeal hasn't been considered yet Tony, rang them mon gone , spoke with some pheb who couldn't tell me anything , not sure the appeal will stand though.

Talking of parking attendants , I noticed yesterday all the "no parking" areas around the Crosby lake car parks are outlined in yellow paint and No Parking signs , yet the raised bit of unauthorised parking tarmac area by Toad Hall which also has lowered kerbs has no such markings , is it being used as a parking fine honeypot by the council ????? , seems strange they can go to great lengths to only produce informative signs in the southern bit of the borough ???? , think if I got a ticket there I would fight it on the grounds the "signs" were missing !!

dredged this one to make a point , why aren't the honeypots of non parking spots done like this around the rest of Sefton , or would it cut too much income ?

Like all enforcers, they are only an issue when you are doing something wrong.

Quite so. If there were no parking regulations, people would hog spaces for hours, or all day, or park in dangerous places without any thought for others. For regulations you need enforcers.
