Thank goodness for that. Did you buy a proper car this time?? . I can recommend a 3 litre V6 Honda Accord which is also trouble free! On second thoughts perhaps not, as petrol is only 77p a litre here.

I've used Lancashire Ford a couple of times for servicing and have not been impressed. Customer service is pretty poor.

I've got a Fiesta, 9 years old, works for me. Cheap as chips to maintain and now ready for my daughter to inherit. I'm going carless, live in a town centre in cycling distance of everywhere and commute by cycle and train.

I've found both Peoples and Lancashire Ford to be great. Had cars from both of them and Duerdens.

Peoples, Orrell Lane. we had a mobility car (ford C-max) no issues. (at the time Lancashire Ford where very unhelpful)

Duerdens, Mondeo Titanium X again no issues.

and my current car from Lancashire Ford Focus ST3, was actually the same guy that sold me the Mondeo at Duerdens. Car's not been in for a service yet as it's only 6 months old. But they did a good job of my Mondeo on the last service I had.


One thing I will say, They are all a billion times better than chappelhouse. I'll never get a car or have one serviced by them again. Useless and rude.

The fiesta is for her indoors ,she's banned from driving the Bentley .
