Somewhat pointless having same sex couples as dancing partners, what next same sex couples in the mixed doubles at Wimbledon?.
Ballroom dancng does not lend itself to same sex couples, end of.

Do they not have that already?
Isn't it called men's doubles and women's doubles?
Don't recall ballroom dancing being called mixed doubles?

Shows what a sham religion is, according to the sky pilots marriage is about the procreation of children. I'd like to see the Ugly ******* and his boy friend produce kids.

What about female/male darts players, snooker players there's no biological reason they couldn't compete together.
I'd like to see a direct match between either of the Williams sisters and Andy Murray, wouldn't be in a rush as to where to put my money.
As for the actual topic, couldn't care less don't watch it, but back in my 'youth' there were many a female group dancing around their handbags in nightclubs.
It does not do anything for women's liberation. Women have proved themselves long before they became labelled for doing so. Before Christianity - that was born of male arrogance, there were many female Pagan Gods. Long before liberalism, Marie Curie was a leading scientist with many other female scientists who paid more attention to detail than their male counterparts. Amelia Errhart, solo pilot, etc.,etc., Women are the power behind men - women think with their brains, while men think with their d......s! A wise woman takes the lead, while allowing the male to think he is the chief. A less wise woman will seek head to head confrontation that achieves nothing.

Just for interests sake, what would you pay to see Floyd Mayweathet Jr fight Anthony Joshua?

With such a strong belief I don't understand your comment 'In these days, there are women who take up boxing, rugby, cricket, football etc., for no other reason than to show they can do it. A complete sham of course'.
Surely the likes of Laura Kenny, Tanni Grey Thompson, Nicola Adams to name a few, rising to the highest level of their field is just an achievement as the women you mention did in theirs.

Nothing they'd have to pay me!
Who's Anthony Joshua? I guess I'll have to Google.

Well, you're not going to see Floyd Mayweather - the highest paid sports star in the world - fight Joshua because Joshua outweighs him by at least 5 stone and would probably kill him.
So, why do people pay a fortune to watch Floyd? Because, he is excellent in his own division.
Just like women are excellent in their own divisions.

This is factually incorrect. He is in a celibate civil partnership. Anglican priests who are gay cannot currently upgrade a civil partnership to marriage or have a same-sex marriage. If in a civil partnership they must also confirm that they are living in celibacy. Those are the current rules (a typical Anglican mess that suits no-one whether from the LGBT or traditionalist lobbies).

Funny, I thought marriage was a commitment to a single person.
As for producing kids, Guess he can't do that, but I bet he'd make a better parent than you.

Despite civil marriages being legal since 1836, 60% of marriages being civil and religious observance being at an all time low in the UK, the churches seem to have the view that they "own" the concept of marriage.

That's why I worded my reply without mentioning religion.
