Lord St was closed this morning for the St Georges Day `parade was my understanding, an, I certainly did not see any roadworks.
Did someone jump to conclusions `I wonder?

Get your facts right , the parade was for a Victoria Cross celebration . Pte.
Richard George Masters . VC . It was Not a St George's Day Parade . Stick to cricket .

There were no roadworks. The road was closed for a military parade. Perhaps have a pop at the organisers of the parade? Though being ex forces no doubt you'll suddenly change your tune and think closing the road on a sunny Saturday was for a great cause.
