The 2Fat Champions League Competition

This will run from September through to May of next year.
Players as follows,

The Edge
and possibly Vanman, if he is available.

Usual format, predict stipulated matches, one point for correct result, bonus point for correct score.
Each player to predict in total 35 results.
70 points available, but who will win?

In the initial league round, 8 groups of four teams, players will be designated one team, they will then predict all 6 results of the group games of said team.

All players will choose a number netween 1 and 32, prior to the groups being drawn. From these numbers, I will allocate teams. I will not say how this will be done, until all players have posted their individual number.

After the group stage, all players predict all matches up to, and including the final.
Usual rules, no insults, slagging off or effing and blinding, although as before, banter is fine, and my decision is final.

Because of the logistics, keeping the scores, running a database, and, using Excel to keep track of who is wining, I have to limit the players.

Certainly no more than 10, and currently, if Vanman plays I have nine.
Sorry to be so firm, but there is a lot of work involved for me.
As you will have noticed, I have room for one more at this moment.
But be warned, and please do not take offence, transgress the rules, and you will be out, everybody in the comp understnds that.

Incidentally, the other players. all participated in my 2010 World Cup comp, and the Women`s World Cup this year. That is why they are named already.

Iyt depends how long the ban is.
He is aware of the comp, and expressed a desire to play last time we spoke.

If it is only a one or two week ban, than I would wait for him to return, before giving his place away, out of respect.

As Huggy Bear has been banned, I will designate him the number 25 (my birthday), and hope that he gets back in time for the competiton.
