Just come back from seeing my mum in Oldham Hospital.
The nurses were fantastic,,which is more than I could say for my mum,,,,,,nag nag.

Some good news.......

Scotland is trying out a new scheme that if successful will roll out to England and Wales.

Qualified refugee Dr's mainly for G.p positions are being trained to fill positions left by the large unfilled gap of British and EU applicants for the posts.

Friend of mine spent a couple of weeks in Oldham General couple of years ago , went to see her a couple of time and I was very impressed at all the staff , kind , friendly, caring, attentive, very impressive indeed.
Hope you mum is feeling better Whippy .
