A people carrier with a few handy passengers armed with bats would be the best thing , drive around and kneecap the little scroats .

Firstly, define youth 14;ish. We all have been there and
At times been annoying.
So cut to the chase , you sit and write the words scum and yobs
Nothing has actually changed in the last 40+ years.
Now you sit and write about.
Tell me these young people are not your your niece , nephew, or
Grand children. I hope they're not mine but I don't know.

Nothing has changed in the last 40 years???? I remember as a youth i had respect for my elders yes i got up to mischief but i feared my parents and the police and back then the police would give u a clip round the head , but the feral scumbag teens these days have little respect for anyone , and i for one will openly say if it was a relative of mine vandalising things and beating people up i would certainly slap them down a peg or 2 and also if i witnessed them wrecking anything of mine i would not think twice about putting them in the boot of the car and putting the fear of life into them . it never did me any harm growin up .

Teenagers are by nature rebellious, it's the nature of the beast, I won't claim that me and my mates were little saints, we weren't, BUT we didn't go out with the intent to wreck property, threaten, intimidate or attack anyone, we also knew very well that should there be any problems from school, neighbours or police we would need some damn good excuses/reasons to deflect assorted grief at home, we were brought up to have respect for others and ourselves and there were times when we felt possibly unfairly treated, but again we would need very good reasons to complain or we would attract the wrong sort of attention.
Certainly we were at times pretty wild, but yet again the only ones likely to get hurt would be us, sadly too many youngsters today feel they are untouchable, which in many cases they are and without boundaries some, not all, will act with no regard for anyone or anything but them selves.

tell me that none of these youngsters are not related to yourselves.

Respect is taught by the parents, that's where the problem lies.
Give them something better to do, help them maybe, try and change things, do something positive???
Or
Come on here and sit safely behind your keyboards as per usual?
