The 'Market Quarter' sign that was erected on King Street in 2013 has finally been fixed. For the last three years it has been held together with gaffa tape.
Today contractors working for Sefton Council were busy fixing the sign.
Better late than never!

er it broke within 6mths of its installation!!!

well one would hope so .but don't hold your breath.at the time the installation an build was well in excess of 30k.there was affair few sign makers and erectors that commented the job should have come in at less much less than 20k.but we are talking sefton con artists here.oops meant sefton council.!!!

I believe that an unnamed official from Sefton Council has announced that "Market Quarter" actually refers to the proportion of the (already very small) market that we once had.

Fixed !!!
All that seems to have been done is replace the black gaffa tape with grey tape!
