And no the kid isn't drinking pop, his pop is in his left hand with the straw

A whole story told in an instant in a click of a camera, there's only 2 people that cant see this and that's the policeman and you Ceam.

Jesus you read a lot into that image. Mostly formed by predigest, bigoted preconceptions.

I see lots of people having fun, and a police officer chatting to a member of the public.

Prejudist no, I have lived here all my life and seen this every year, people enjoying themselves never really bothered me I worked at the fairground for years and its old hat to me, I have preconceptions and I can pre judge that next year will be exactly the same as this year, and I have pre digested these facts. And there is a lot in that image about a thousand words, the more you look at the picture the more you can see what the people are thinking, maybe its a gift or maybe its just obvious. cheeky kids eh ha.

    The child has done nothing.
You're right though, it's the same every year. People on here moan, the orange men do their little parade, spend a fortune in the town centre. Give a much needed boost to Southport's economy.
People on here moan about the litter. People on here want them all arrested and deported(not quite sure what for). the orange men go home, Southport cleans up and makes a tidy profit in the process.
Then people make the oddest observations, with apparently amazing insight as to what is happening based on a single still image, and apparently mind reading skills too.

I wonder if I should pre-judge you as a fair ground working, white van driving, cash in hand earner?

  5. MICK/GILLY says:14/07/2017 01:26 PM
I don't mind if they come or not, I personally know well enough to keep out of town on the day and if they didn't come it probably wouldn't make any difference to the economy or me.
face it the picture speaks volumes and you don't need any special powers to see what I have outlined.
You wont make any friends insulting people rather you will put yourself up for ridicule by people who have met you Noel. You have a long way to go if you want to be a good keyboard warrior and as for assumptions I haven't ever owned a white van and once worked in what Blackpool Pleasure Beach call their treasury dept a quite trusted role, while trading all cash payments were included in my books and so says my accountant.

Point was, jumping to conclusion. Clearly something that went over the top of your head again. Don't recall insulting anyone, but if people want to ridicule me that's their choice. Couldn't give a monkeys.

Mick/Gilly, So as I said, Masonic Lodges have nothing to do with, or have any connection with Orange Lodges. If someone wants to join either or both, they are free to do so, as they are not proscribed organisations or unlawful. They are two completely seperate entities. You appear to want to make a connection for a (bigoted ?) reason.

  8. MICK/GILLY says:14/07/2017 01:53 PM
Well after much thought that's what I concluded about this one photo out of many purely saying what I see, I noticed this at first by accident then looked harder at it and thought I would share the scenario for the sake of humour to those who like me missed the real story of this one particular pic at first glance. If you want people to ridicule you that's up to you but don't get a complex not all are ridiculing you, not all.

I didn't say they were unlawful only that one bunch founded the other and if that and the practices of the entirely separate types of lodges lets say are similar is no kind of connection but coincidence then fair enough I am wrong I stand enlightened, nothing against anyone or bigoted about much, yea well if they are not the same then ... fair enough eh.

  10. sherlock says:14/07/2017 02:42 PM
I wasn't trying to belittle, just enlighten you that they aren't connected. Cheers

  11. MICK/GILLY says:14/07/2017 03:21 PM
Well on one level I am not surprised that one organisation might realise the strength in the structure of another nor am I surprised that the other organisation is keen not to be seen in the same light as a similar one, your comments have not struck as belittling at all and I will take them on board ta.
