After the recent outbreaks of Anti Social Behavior in the town most notably in the Kings Gardens a company called "Battle Investigations" have been invited by Cllr David Barton and several local businesses to record outbreaks of ASB and report to the Police.
The Southport BID are said to be "dismayed"
It would appear that neither the Council or the police have been approached about this.
It has been branded as a "Private Army"
All their duty officers use fully equipped Hi visibility vehicles, wear full Hi-Viz body armour, carry radios and DNA offender marking spray.
Battle personnel have gathered intelligence in both hostile and non hostile settings. They have infiltrated 'gangs' to provide intelligence on Anti Social Behaviour and crime.
They have over 20 years experience in the covert surveillance field and using only ex-Police and Forces personnel.
Battle are the leaders in conducting covert and overt surveillance against a range of targets be it Anti Social Behaviour, crime, matrimonial, or business fraud. This can take the form of foot patrols or photgraphic evidence. They also have the ability to conduct surveillance from many miles away by the use of remotely controlled drones with live image streaming.

Not sure its actually legal to use a drone to specifically film people without their prior permission, even more so for a commercial drone flying business.

So will they be patrolling publicly owned assets such as Kings Gardens or will they just be patrolling the businesses who are paying for the patrols?

Seriously wish Barton would p*ss off already, I wonder how much he/his family are paying this website Admin/Owner to continually keep posting stupid articles about this alleged criminal so that it can be used to support "good character" claims in his pending court case.
On a side note if ANY of these Private Hire thugs laid a finger on me, I'd happily use force to detain them whilst I call the police to arrest them for assault...that includes spraying em with anything at all, I doubt they have any powers of detainment anyway...

I think they won't be paying anything for the website to highlight their weird activities.... which actually don't present them in a good light.
