Fly tippers have been out again on Wyke Cop in Scarisbrick. A farmers field now looks like Bensons for Beds after frames and mattresses were dumped overnight.
Fly tipping is an unsightly and dangerous problem and costs council tax payers money to clear away.
WLBC treat this problem very seriously and will usually prosecute anyone caught fly tipping waste in the borough. Dumping household, industrial and commercial waste illegally is a serious criminal offence that carries a fine of up to £50,000, offenders can even be sent to prison.

Is it a little unfair to associate the name of a company with this disgusting behaviour - even if the beds happen to be their products originally this behaviour is surely absolutely nothing to do with them

Why would anyone associate fairness - or for that matter traits such as accuracy and responsible reporting with roving-eye?

This so called " reporter " has now clearly illustrated in the public prints what a total dumb *a*s*s* he really is.
Just has to wait for the writ to drop through his letterbox now.

Further note for information purposes only; the reason for asterisks being used is to circumvent the pathetic attempt by " smart " software to censor " unsuitable words ".
More examples of " dumb *a*s*s* " technology on here it would seem.

Does the reporter on this site have any professional qualifications?
I've watched over the years and his approach and style are quite near the mark, libellous reports, assumptions, insulting sections of the community including the disabled, nonchalance to anyone's personal business.
The owners of this site seem to be happy with that so carry on it will.
