No I think he meant birders. The RSPB mainly do what they do for the benifit of birds. The main way they do this is by the management of habitats to provide the right balance for a variety of birds, all of which have diverse needs. I don't know what water management the RSPB do or don't do regards drainage, I suspect very little. Don't forget that the whole of the houseing west of Fylde Rd used to be marsh.

For the record and you're most welcome to check the drainage charts and inspect the sluice gates and where the RSPB have dammed the natural drainage points - they purposefully flood the bird-field instead of allowing it to naturally drain. Suggest you disbelievers go for a walk to check......
