Bloomfield Bear is backing ‘Onthespot’ over the life time ban dished out by Southport FC chairman Charles Clapham over Steven Gerrard photos that appeared on Southport’s number 1 website, southport.gb.com

Bloomfield Bear growled:” I fully support ‘Onthespot’ in his campaign to be re-instated back into Haig Avenue, and I would like to thank my fellow football club mascot Sandy the Lion down at Southport Football Club for backing OTS.

OTS will continue to fight for the lifetime ban to be over turned.

Until now, I wasn't sure where I stood on this issue. However, after hearing the opinion of an respected pillar of our community like Bloomfield Bear, I have to say, Southport Football Club is being totally out of order.

Well, I've alerted Matt Williams, media rep at Blackpool FC, to the fact that his club is being linked with an attack on another football club. It remains to be seen how he and Blackpool react.

It will indeed be interesting to hear Blackpool FC's reply.
It seems to me that most of Rodwells alleged supporters are merely anti Clapham and are not interested in the facts of this so called campaign but would claim to support anyone who spoke out against the Chairman.

One of editorial team "Roving Eye" has already pledged his support by backing OTS! If you bothered reading the thread you would already know his views on the matter. A message to Phil Rodwell.
I do not recall ANYBODY ever saying that your taking pictures of the Adidas photo shoot and publishing them was breaking the law. Many people have however pointed out that is WAS against the wishes of not only Southport F.C. but Adidas. AS for your witnesses your record on accuracy in this matter is questionable at best. There are many people on your list of so called supporters who have stated that they DO NOT support you, but you refuse to take their names off the list. It would also be interesting to hear exactly what you tell people when attempting to gain their 'support'. "Hard done to Phil Rodwell just took some pictures and the big bad Chairman banned you for it". Hardly the full facts is it.
