Claire McCluskey, of Poulton Road, Southport has been sentenced to two years in jail suspended for two years after being found guilty of wounding without intent.
She must also serve a curfew from 8.00pm-6.00am until 31st January 2017.
Compensation of a £1000 will also have to be paid to the victim.
The incident occurred around 1.00am on Friday, 26 February,
Kate Nield, 26 was assaulted at an address in Garstang Road during an argument. She was bitten on the cheek, injuries which required surgery at Whiston Hospital.

For the continuing safety of society it would have been a good idea to have had this creatures teeth removed ( without anaesthetic of course ) whilst it was still manacled in the dock.
