The derelict property on Scarisbrick New Road is now being cleaned up after the tenant Errol Parkinson was evicted several weeks ago.
Errol is now believed to be living in Manchester as the property has now been sold for redevelopment.
Two Robin Reliants have been removed and are now in the road awaiting removal.

Better known in the motor trade as the "plastic pig" with very good reason.

What a blooming mess! It should never have been allowed to get so bad. If the law doesn’t allow for earlier intervention and prosecuting offenders, then something needs to change. As I’ve mentioned previously, the council need to get down to the semi- detached house on Guildford Rd near to the lights by Halsall Road, as that is a disgrace - they took all the windows out over two years ago and left it open to the elements. It must be wrecking the neighbour’s house. Garden looks like a building site. People shouldn’t be allowed to get away with wrecking someone else’s house like that.

I see a mess like an eccentric hoarder has occupied the house, the guy might be a very nice man but comes across as a nut case that has completely buried the garden in rubbish and obstruction and has gone out of his way to fight to keep it like that. I don't suppose it would do any harm to run a cadaver dog over the whole place.

The site has been openly offered for sale no mystery to it and good luck to the buyer and the neighbours who must be so glad.

In response to the comments made earlier regarding Guildford rd .I can confirm that a programme of work to renovate it has started.I would like to point out that the adjacent property has not been affected in any way.As for the local council they seem happy to be charging the owner 150 % council tax per month. As for the neighbour’s thankyou for your patience over the past two years.

Anyone know what's happening to the rialtos? They're not worth a lot but worth nothing as scrap and plenty of owners needing hard to get parts.

Really? It is an absolute disgrace that you removed all the windows and left the property in that state for over two years when the house is a semi-detached. You should be ashamed of yourself leaving people to live next to that. At least the fella before left the windows in, even if of was untidy outside. If that is your scaffolding company who advertised with a sign across the windowless gap, all I can say is that it is the worst advert possible. All I thought when I have driven past it for two years is that is one company to avoid if they think that is acceptable to do when you have an adjoining property. Absolute disgrace how you left it. You should have left the windows in until you wanted to replace them. Nightmare neighbour springs to mind.

Section 12 (2) of the Local Government Finance Act 2012
If a property is unoccupied and substantially unfurnished for more than 24 months, then an additional 50% charge will be imposed. This means that 150% Council Tax will become payable on the empty property.
Just another tax from Sefton Council

As it's from an act of Parliament then it's a government imposed decision and will be the same all over the country.
