County Council workers have been getting down and dirty with the drains in Scarisbrick this week.
A team's been working on the A570 jetting out all the filth in preparation for autumn - about time too given the state of some of them near Milano.
And what about the drains in residential areas or Ormskirk and Burscough which are now clogged with dirt as these few pictures in Ormskirk by QLocal's Roger Blaxall illustrate.

Try driving past Meols Cop School,as the smell from the drains near there are terrible,driving my Private Hire I sometimes have to say to the passengers "That was'nt me" as I drive down Meols Cop Road.

It's been like that for many years, the road has been dug up numerous times!
