Due to a sewer collapse on Liverpool Road, Birkdale, an emergency repair will be carried out on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 July.
Contractors will be working at the site, at the junction with St Peter’s Road, and the road will be closed for the weekend.
The diversion route for all traffic will be via Liverpool Road, Crescent Road, Grosvenor Road, Trafalgar Road, Liverpool Road and vice versa.
The road also collapsed in January 2015
