Southport Football Club are extremely delighted to announce that Everton will continue to use the Merseyrail Community Stadium for the 2018/19 season.

Playing the majority of their Premier League 2 home fixtures in Southport the Young Blues will have their first game in front of the local community on Monday 27 August against Swansea City.

There is also an added bonus for local fans in the area as Portuguese giants Benfica visit the town in late September to play Everton U23s in the Premier League International Cup.

Speaking on the new agreement, CEO of the club Natalie Atkinson said: “It is fantastic that Everton U23s will be playing their fixtures back in Southport this season. It’s a real coup for the club and hopefully the fans and local community will come out and enjoy the games.”

The confirmed fixture list is as follows; with all kick-offs scheduled for 7pm:

Monday 27 August – Swansea City
Monday 24 September – Tottenham Hotspur
Thursday 27 September – Benfica (PL International Cup)
Monday 17 December – Derby County
Monday 14 January – Chelsea
Monday 18 February – Blackburn Rovers
Monday 11 March – Arsenal
Monday 15 April – Brighton & Hove Albion
The club will be operating cashless turnstiles for the fixtures, so those wishing to attend the games will have to visit the Club Shop on Haig Avenue for a ticket before entering through the Blowick End turnstiles further down the road.

Admission prices for the games are £5 Adults, £3 Concessions and U11s go free; with Season Ticket Holders from both Southport and Everton receiving complimentary admission – to gain entry these fans just have to show their season ticket at the turnstile.
