Graffiti vandals have targeted the Lakeside Miniature Railway that was recently purchased by Pleasureland.

The vandals have sprayed the old Princes Park Station that was closed in 1948. Now used as a storeroom, the door has been forced open.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Merseyside Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Often wondered why kids had rucksacks,and now I know,to store the aerosol cans.Obvious when you think about it,may be the police should kindly ask to search ?

They were kind enough to leave some information behind :

- there were four of them each using a different tag : Icer, Tase, Onz and Nlt

- the ringleader was the one that uses the tag - Icer - that one seems to do most if not all of the writing.

- i am pretty sure they are girls as no guys would use pink


- And thanks to the world on the internet - Tase has kindly supplied an instagram picture of his /her work on the station

Problem with kids and grafitti artists is that they like to have too much of an internet presence and they like the recognition !

Seems like a good confession to me, or you should be in the Police! On another relevant point this act was perhaps committed at a "quiet" time.

I took a walk last Sunday morning around the lake about 11 and behold a Police patrol!! Nothing like effective policing eh.. Right Time, Right Place, Not!

You did a really good job, finding out this stuff. What gets me is why show off on the net when one is hopeless at graffiti.I would be ashamed if my art was that rubbish, let alone show it on the web.Could it be that parents tell their kids that stuff they have produced is good when it isnt. Perhaps its time to be honest.
Finally if we found out where this halfwit kids live we could put some rubbish paintings on their houses then show it off on the web.

Well as the police are no longer dealing with none violent crimes that are valued less than £50-00p, Southport have more chance of winning the league next year while at the same time winning the FA Cup while going a season with one manager. I don't blame the officers at lower level, it's those at the top who have decided to prioritise. They can find officers when the Liverpool Mayor wants to evict squatters from a privately own empty bank, but not to remove travelers from privately or Sefton Council owned land. They can't find officers to deal with a regular shop lifter (Who steals below £50-00p) but can find over a dozen to help (Because the TV cameras are there) to rescue a seal. Or to flood an area when some VIP (With TV cameras) turns up. Seems they have gotten the meaning of the word Priority wrong.
