Lancashire Constabulary have received reports from some residents of Gravel Lane Banks stating that they have had their registration plates removed from their vehicles.

For some strange reason, totally unknown to myself, and probably several other people, you have " reported " this as if it is some form of mere prank.

Nothing could be further from the truth. If I were the subject of such a crime I for one would be very worried since the purpose of the theft of registration plates is so that fraud and crime of a very serious nature can be committed - wait for it - IN THE NAME OF THE LEGAL OWNER.

If you are going to bother reporting anything , especially of this nature, then please be bothered to do the job PROPERLY.
