do you not feel it's unprofessional for a councillor to comment about another one without declaring they are a paid elective? You seem to scurry away from that question of whether we are getting anonymous political views from a political party to potentially influence the elective in one way. This is what you are doing if you are a councillor.

You really do get more ridiculous by the day, if not the hour, how is the fact that some equipment which has been out in the elements for 30 years and corrodes internally so causing the closure on safety grounds, Labour having "messed it up"... your bias constantly defeats your common sense! In fact, your common sense seems to have just surrendered some time ago in the face of overwhelming odds.

Another one who tries to just ignore that he was completely wrong...
and by doing so gets it completely wrong again... she was contacted by the residents, probably down to her role as the Labour parliamentary candidate her in 15 & 17 and possibly because they felt they weren't getting the help they needed elsewhere?

Just earlier in the thread you were claiming she did! What a contrary Mary you are eh?
What is clear is that she got the residents a lifeline, the residents are really pleased. All the Lib-Dems have to do is release the ward funds...

I've no idea.
I'll ask you a much more pertinent question: Do you not feel it's unprofessional for a Labour councillor for Skelmersdale, who lives in Tarleton, to claim to be dealing with a council matter in Southport?
As I understand it, if she were the MP for Skelmersdale rather than a councillor, she would be up before the Commons Speaker for behaviour like this. Would that qualify as "unprofessional" in your view?

As you obviously know a lot about this, can you please explain:
- How do you (or the Labour-run Council) know that it is corroded internally?
- How is it that that all the various bits of 30 year old playground equipment have all reached the same (excessive) point of corrosion at the same point in time?

How do you know that?
Do you have any connections with Skelmersdale's Cllr Liz Savage?

Really?
I thought the Labour-run Council had suddenly found the money having previously said that it didn't have the money. After all, what else are we meant to read into the claim that "Sefton Council's Leader, Ian Maher, has agreed to put in the extra money"?
Who originally decided to close this playground? Why, the Labour Cabinet member!

You have no idea, so are you a councillor or not as you can let the electorate decide in some transparent politics
She's probably dealing with it as the libs didn't and would rather petty political games. Some could say if this happens she may have delivered more for southport than the last MP in 20 years....and she doesn't even fit the laughable lib election campaign of "is she local though"

Surely to ask that you need to be willing to say if you are a councillor or not.

Except the front page of yesterday's Champion says otherwise.
One difference: The Champion is written by professional journalists, whereas you appear to be relying on the "Fake News" written by the Labour Party.
However, if you are saying that "She would rather petty political games" then, for once, I'd agree with you.

So we should believe this written by the professional champion? Did seem quite petty/nasty, also you've not answered if you're a councillor? If she managed to succeed here the will she have achieved more for southport than our last MP.

Hate to break this to you but the very fact it was on their front page yesterday shows their "news" was already a couple of days old, it's a midweek freebie... and the Labour story was released yesterday afternoon... events move on... you really need to try harder.

I'll have a stab at that, given that she was approached by residents, found a solution and has been publically thanked by them for it... I'd say the answer is clearly NO!

You're dead right on that. It's a Labour story aka "Fake News".

Gwhizz, you need to realise that simply repeating something doesn't make it true.
Earlier, when you claimed "... she was contacted by the residents" I asked you "How do you know that?"
You appear to have no response to that.
