Incidentally, Gwizz, you've still not addressed my query below which I put to you when you said: "how is the fact that some equipment which has been out in the elements for 30 years and corrodes internally so causing the closure on safety grounds, Labour having 'messed it up' "

Gwhizz, you need to realise that simply repeating something doesn't make it true.
Earlier, when you claimed "... she was contacted by the residents" I asked you "How do you know that?"
You appear to have no response to that.
You realise that you've been told twice what happened and that, of course, it's very difficult for me to prove the contact here, which is why you're trying this ruse....
BUT unfortunately for you there is also a public record as they also left a direct appeal on the Southport Labour Facebook page, simply go there and you will see a post by a lady called Diane Thomas who started the appeal to save the playground, left at 0654 on Fri 1st Sept and specifically asking for our help... once again, you have been proved COMPLETELY WRONG!!! So much for fake news... so much for your views. Now give it up, you are getting hammered.

It broke! Causing a 12 year old girl to break her arm... guess what those investigating the accident did... they looked at it... hey presto!! Genius huh?!!
The rest was precautionary but given the age and design was deemed necessary.
Now stop asking such stupid questions and making such ill-informed comments, you've been proved wrong time and again.

Are you sure about that? Wasn't that in Formby, rather than at Kew? Perhaps you could check your facts and issue a correction (if appropriate).

I would expect those investigating an accident in a Formby playground to thoroughly check on the other playground equipment there.
But what we are talking about is playground equipment here in Kew, Are you saying that the Labour-controlled Council also thoroughly checked the Kew playground equipment? If you are saying they did, could you provide a link that supports your assertion.
It's just that you still haven't explained your claim that "this equipment ... corrodes internally". How do you know that it is corroded internally?

So you are admitting that you are connected with the Labour party. Thanks for finally admitting that.
You must be really proud of the way that the Sefton Labour Party is taking away our facilities in Southport.

Are you admitting that you're a councillor yet or are you continuing to scurry away and then continue to try and discredit other political parties? At least Liz Savage when she posts here does it in her own name.
You must be really proud of how little the Libs have delivered from a council and government level for southport (especially relative to the noise they create)

Really? How can you be certain?
There are a number of people posting here anonymously who have admitted (or otherwise obvious) connections with the Labour Party. For all we know one of them might be a Skelmersdale councillor. That must be a real concern to you.

I don't know why you think it's acceptable to put these things here and not answer yes/no whether you are a councillor or not? Don't need names, addresses but it's important to be clear whether you are a paid elective trying to potentially influence the view of the people of southport for political gain.
You could try asking them if they are a skelmersdale councillor or even ask Liz Savage if she posts under different names to her own. If the said person says no then that closes the matter, similarly if you answer the question it closes this discussion rather that me asking and you scurrying off.

I'm obviously less obsessed than you. It just surprises me that you don't bother asking the various manifestly pro-Labour posters here whether they are councillors (whether in Bootle or Skelmersdale).

You seem to be pretty obsessed if anyone says anything against the Lib Dems and whether pro-labour posters are councillors.
Ultimately if you're a councillor you should not post anonymously on local political matters as it's conflict of interest.
So, are you a local councillor or will you scurry off to your next thread when the Lib Dems are doubted or there is the chance another political party have succeeded were the libs haven't.

Sorry for delay, was busy, I'm a Southport Labour Party member, have never hid it. Unlike some. I'm a local volunteer not a paid official or councillor etc. and have also been involved with the campaigners on this so, unlike you, I can base my opinions on facts rather than bias.
As to Sefton, given that they are trying to work with the local parents on this I'd say they seem to be doing fine. It's the Lib-Dems putting a block on things by not releasing the ward funds.

What on earth are you on about now, I didn't say it happened in Kew did I? It clearly states in the article where it was! You try and twist everything but just end up in knots yourself.
No I can't provide you with a specific link to that because, funnily enough, I'm not a council employee and wasn't involved in the decision but it was clearly stated that the closure was a precautionary measure on those grounds by council officials, so go bore them with your endless idiotic prattling.

Yes you did. So you now admit it didn't happen in Kew but rather in Formby.
Is such deceitfulness mandatory in the Labour Party?

But you are, apparently, quite happy to make claims that are unsupported.

You're probably a Lib Dem councillor posting under a pseudonym about other parties and councillors, hardly a model of political integrity.
Interestingly enough when it was raised in the council Cllr Dawson never actually denied being Cherie Brandie, what conclusion could be drawn?

Is that like the LibDem's unsupported claim that they were the only Party that could keep the Tories out in the General Election and then came a disastrous third? I trust you'll be voting tactically for Labour to keep the Tories out next time Prasnee.
