You need to go back and read what I typed... I simply explained what had happened with the accident, I gave no location.... so is such deceitfulness mandatory in your approach, I can't really refer to your party because you've been suspended of course.

You really do pick at straws don't you, the situation is very simple, due to failure of the same type of equipment which was installed at the same time, it was decided to close the the play area on safety grounds, or would you prefer to wait until another child is injured?

The council could not justify the total expenditure needed to replace this equipment, the residents got together and set out looking for help to rescue the situation, it would appear that the Southport Labour group stepped up to the plate and got a promise of funds from Sefton Council with the balance coming from ward funds for that ward, but the Lib-Dem councillors are holding on this money for some unknown, possibly top secret project and clearly don't wish to fund their own ward residents in this matter, why?????

Of course the lib-Dems then get over excited having been shown to have little or no regard for their own residents and start this strange campaign against the ex-prospective Southport MP simply to cover their own devious activities.

As far as I and most others can see all that is needed is release of WARD funds and the issue can be solved, so get on with it you Lib-Dems, serve your ward residents, do something useful or do you regard ward funds as your personal piggy bank to be used only for your pet projects? whatever they may be.

All the froth and blather that you have posted on this thread is just a smoke screen, deflection tactics no less, most of us can see straight through it, sure I understand you're a bit miffed and nose possibly out of joint because some one from outside has done your job for you, the least you can do is finalise that.

No I am not a councillor, or part of any political group, just someone who would like to see councillors getting on with the job of serving their ward residents, something which naively I thought they should be doing anyway.
