Glad to see horse not injured and all appears to have ended well.
Now please tell me the owner of the animal will be invoiced accordingly
or passed on to their insurance company.

All good training for the fire and rescue service personnel.
Now, ausard 2 were you there? Do you know for a fact that the horse was not forced into the ditch by a passing motorist or panicked by a car passing too close and too fast? If you had been the rider and forced into the ditch, would you or your insurers expect to have to pay?
Leave that decision to the fire and rescue service.
Had it been you in a CAR in the ditch would you offer to pay say - £300 to 500 to the emergency services?
