This was the scene on Eastbank St this afternoon after the driver of a Fiat allowed his passenger to set off a flare in the car.
Pink smoke was billowing from the car as it made its way along Eastbank St and onto Lord St. No police were in the vicinity to have a word.

Lots of weird looking young people (one in a crown & robe!) arriving at Ainsdale station today & heading for Pontins - must be a weekender going on. These idiots could be part of that crowd?

They were in a Fiat, might be a legitimate distress flare.

Just having dinner tonight with the missus and both of us agreed there are far more "Knobheads" around these days than when we were young back in the 70's! It's not even a cool thing to do God forbid.
At least there is a Reg Plate for some official body to have a look at!

I have seen this with my own eyes from about 50 cars in Liverpool.
It was in regards to Justice for 96, Hillsborough
