Southport’s radical fine art gallery, the Waterfront Arts Project on The Promenade, opens its new exhibition this Saturday at 2.00pm. ‘Imagine if..’ is a sensitive and profound visual exploration into living with life-limiting conditions. The work on show includes painting, sculpture, installation and photography.

The Waterfront Arts Project is an artist-led artists’ community run by volunteers and funded solely by donations. Since it opened in 2010 it has attracted thousands of visitors, many from outside the Southport area.

‘Imagine if..’ opens at 2.00pm Saturday 26th May and runs until 8th July 2012, the artists offer a warm welcome to all who wish to join them for the opening.

The Waterfront Arts Project can be found next to the Ramada Hotel on Southport Promenade. It is open seven days a week from 12 – 4pm.

Good luck to all the team at the Waterfront for this exhibition. The work on display is always different and thought-provoking. Something really different for Southport.
