Pic and mix politics? I don't think so - you either vote to keep the privileged in power or support the many not the few.

Well if they'd stopped blowing people up there'd have been no need to talk to them would there? Would you prefer the killing to still be going on?

We all do pick and mix apart from the truly lobotomised "party faithful" that would vote for any old dog provided it had the right colour rosette.
Ah, the "many not the few" slogan. Just as vacuous as TM's bollocks about "strong and stable". Sadly, displaying that you are one of the tribal ones. My condolences.

Jezza was supportive of the struggle that instigated the blowing up. Not a man of peace - in the Island of Ireland or the Middle East - no matter how he spins it.

Sour grapes because the Maybot isn't coming to see you.
Or even sending Amber Rudd.

No one does pic n mix politics - you only get one cross on the ballot paper. When you vote you vote for the whole package.
The choice we have is to vote for the party of the privileged which you would only do if you are privileged or easily misled or the party that puts the interests of ordinary people first.
Anything else is a wasted vote. How lobotomised is that?

You may do, but you are a True Believer in that sad religio-tribal sense (I mean, come on, Trott - celebrating Trotsky, someone responsible for so much slaughter isn't big or clever).
The rest of us, more rooted in reality, vote in the hope that the politician or party we choose at a particular election will at least address one or two issues we care about. We also look at the dreadful record of particular parties and politicians and give them a wide berth. Your current love interest is one such person of disrepute.

And if those "one or two issues we care about" include equality, an end to poverty and preserving our National Health Service the only option is to vote Corbyn's Labour.
What are the one or two issues you care about that explain your erratic voting behaviour?

You mean Ireland being Irish rather than a corner of it belonging to the UK?
Seems fair enough

Ever tried asking the people who live in that "corner" what they want? I don't suppose that matters... Self determination is a marvellous thing everywhere in the world, apparently, except for on our doorstep. Presumably you'd like them to be forceably converted too?

Truly Trottishly delusional.
A waft of "Equality" ... of what? Opportunity, or outcome? We aren't equal and never will be.
An "end to poverty" ... I seem to remember poverty increased under Labour.
Oh, "preserving the NHS" ... like the Dodo, stuff it and put it in a display cabinet. It isn't fit for purpose.

So you want to get rid of the NHS. Strange that you affect such concern for the 'unborn child' but couldn't give a monkeys what happens to them when they are born.

The majority of people in Ulster would vote to be part of the Republic if given the chance.

I do care for what happens after they are born - which is why I want something better than the woeful NHS. It kills too many patients and badly serves many more. Moreover it does it expensively. Mind you, I suppose you being a fan of killing the innocent...

Funny that more of them vote for the DUP than any other party then - and at the most recent election with an increased number of votes. (Ah, democracy. What a fine thing!)
