Southport Rescue were called out on the 16th November to find a vulnerable male missing on the marshes.
A spokesperson for the Lifeboat said...
' As our crew were washing down after weekly training, the Southport Quads and foot team were tasked by Holyhead Coastguard to a vulnerable male missing in the marshes near Marshside Road.
The crew met with the Police and Coastguard Rescue teams at the RSPB car park and the quads began to search out Rainfords Track.
The casualty was located half a mile west of the car park on the track by the quad team, who used their newly learned casualty care skills to assess and monitor the male.
He was then returned to shore by the quad team and handed over to the ambulance for further treatment.
Well done to all teams involved.
