Police have issued a new picture of Carl Lake from Bootle, who has been missing for eight days, as his family grow increasingly concerned for his whereabouts.

Carl Lake, 62 years, was last seen at around 5.30pm on Tuesday, 15 May in the vicinity of Coronation Walk in Southport.

Carl is described as 5ft 5in tall, of slim build, with thinning grey hair. He also walks with a hunch.

When he was last seen, Carl was wearing a white jumper with navy stripes, a thin navy summer jacket, blue jeans, and navy shoes with tan colour on the sides.

He is known to frequent the Bootle and Seaforth areas and it is possible he may have travelled to the Blackpool area.
