Its a week since the Travellers took over the Park And Ride and they are still there.It seems that no attempt has been made to move them despite being on council property.

Is that the sound of creeping, creaking, council, cogs I can hear?

Taking our dog for a walk tonight at around at 18.40 to the rear of Homebase,and there were around 12 vans,loaded and facing Kew on the road,so possibly they ARE moving off site ? And if and when they do leave the site,then the council should erect a gate just before the bridge over the Janesbrook stream ASAP,to stop any future travellers from gaining access to the old Pay n Ride car park.

But won't hold my breath if they decide to put a gate in.

They've moved to the grass area in front of Scarisbrick Marina

A gate wouldn't be much use, these people use bolt cutters and portable angle grinders to gain access. The gates by the park and ride building were padlocked but it didn't stop them.
