This years Orange Parade got off to a bad start as the first two bands had to march through traffic that was still coming down Nevill Street.

At the moment the atmosphere id good humored with no sign of any trouble.

The no drinking in the streets rule is not being enforced at all by the Police.

What a bloody shower, bet some of them stopped off to collect their benefits on the way here.

As for the no alcohol policy not being enforced, did anyone really think it would be, the enforcers in this town only go after the kids or elderly. I'm going to walk down Lord St tomorrow drinking a beer and if I get stopped i'm claiming discrimination.

Dodgy drill, shoddy turnout and a celebration of bigotry - what's not to like?

No need to fine people for drinking and littering. They'll surely make up the money by fining the parents of all those kids skipping school for the day to take part in or watch this event.

You'd think with a year to practice they'd be able to march in time wouldn't you!

The Police horses and riders were immaculately turned out so I'll allow you to arrive at your own conclusions.
