Officers from Merseyside Police were called to Rotten Row this morning after a man was reported to be acting suspiciously.

The man was stopped and Police carried out a thorough search of his bags and person.

Officers also checked nearby undergrowth in case the man had hidden anything.

He was eventually released to go on his way.

They don’t.! Members of the public take the pics, send em in with a vague story, then Chinese whispers and an alement of poetic imagination are used to dramatise a rather dull everyday incident into something still remarkably dull. It’s the only way they can justify charging the advertisers.

‘He was allowed to go on his way’. So basically the Police where satisfied that no crimes had been committed by this gentleman. Why is this news?

The police are doing their job ,yet there are people on here
judging by their comments are totally social
scroungers. Who take everything and give
    zilch in return.
Get a life, then there are plenty of bridges
    in the district.
