    Many people have commented on the strange purple glow in the sky over the Scarisbrick area.

    The glow is coming from the greenhouses at Scarisbrick Nurseries on Jacksmere Lane.

    Artificial lighting is being used to cultivate the plants and this is causing the light pollution over Scarisbrick.
