A businessman from Southport took these pictures outside KFC on Bank Holiday Monday.
Stephen Hoskins said...Two trays of hundreds of portions of raw chicken on back seat of KFC area managers car waiting in sunshine before he drove it to another KFC store in Southport .
How long does it take for chicken to go bad when left in a hot car?
The car was parked at least an hour blocking two disabled parking bays at KFC ocean Plaza. Southport on bank holiday Monday.

How does he know it was driven to another store? Did he follow the car after timing how long it had been there and interrogating the driver as to his position within the company?

Energy saving measure for cooking, obviously. Very eco, and resourceful!

Whatever the circumstances, if he was so concerned that the chicken was to be sold on for human consumption and was a possible risk to health, Mr Hoskins should have:-
1. Challenged the KFC manager / area manager for their version of events
2. Contacted KFC Head Office
3. Passed all photos and details on to Environmental Health
There may of course be a perfectly good explanation as to why it was being moved in such a way, but if it was off and was to be disposed of, surely they would have food waste bins on site, and where would be open on a Bank Holiday to dump food waste.

Apart from the set of eyes with the glasses at the top of the photo :-), I can see lots of fish eyes in the bags. It may be my eyesight but they look like fish rather than chicken to me. May just be a bad photo.

Sunny day? Looks like rainy day to me (no shadows and wet ground)!
Blocking two spaces? Photo reveals just one..!
At least an hour? Nothing else to do?
Rotting? Did he smell them?
And yes, you should have reported your concern to the Food Hygene inspectors.
Maybe you should join the police Mr Clouseau..!

Beggers belief that "Anybody" is still contemplating eating KFC or any other fast food anyway, full stop.
Just remember the crap that came out of Moy Park all those years ago and we didn't have half of the garbage that we so call food today!!
