Who are the others? It's just that you said "As regards attendance at meetings, there are elected councillors in Southport who haven't attended a single meeting for the last 18 month". That's councillors (plural).
I was replying to said's post pointing out Liz Savages 50% attendance this year. You've only quoted half my sentence which was also referring to Southport councillors with low attendance comparable to Liz Savage:
So. Tony Dawson 56%, Haydn Preece 53%

If you refer back you will see I said:
"It's a matter of record that the only people who have ever beaten the Conservatives in Southport (on more than 100 occasions over the last 40 years) have been the Lib Dems/Liberals - that's apart from one time when the Southport Party won a seat off the Tories.
So how many times have the Labour Party beaten the Tories in Southport in the last 40 years? Precisely ZERO TIMES."
To which Polly Trott parroted the following response:
"That was then and this is now. Now only Labour can beat the Tories in Southport."
So unless you think there have been over 100 general elections in the last 40 years, we were clearly talking about ALL the elections there have been, both Council and General elections.

So there is just one Southport councillor who hasn't attended a single meeting for the last 16 or 18 months.
You gave the impression that there was more than one.

Apologies for the wording of my original post.
Do you feel we're getting value for money from Dawson and Preece given that they get a councillors allowance of approx twice as much as Liz Savage gets in West Lancs?

Of course I was talking about the General Election. Pedantry isn't going to save your pathetic Party from political annihilation.
So tell us Prasnee as ONLY LABOUR CAN DEFEAT THE TORIES IN SOUTHPORT will you be voting tactically next time? Or do you want a Tory MP in Southport?

Unlike my Google search for "Liz Savage Skelmersdale" (nothing!) I actually found quite a lot for "Tony Dawson Southport" and Haydn Preece Ainsdale".
That's only one aspect, of course, but certainly on that basis the answer is probably yes.

Really? Perhaps you should read what you are replying to before you you write your rant.
Or did you really think there had been over 100 general elections in the last 40 years?
But whether you thought you were talking about local elections or general elections, the simple fact is that Labour has LOST every single one of them in Southport in the last 40 years. That's over 200 elections, 200 times that Labour have lost.

You can say it in BOLD as often as you like, but it doesn't make it true.
And no, I would never vote Labour, just as I would never vote Conservative. They are both as bad as each other. In fact, at the moment, the top of the Labour Party contains slightly more deeply unpleasant characters than does the top of the Conservative Party - and that takes some doing.

Anything positive achievements in the results though?

The even simpler fact is the LibDems came a humiliating third in the last General Election and can no longer rely on the lie that only they can they beat the Tories. It is now clear that ONLY LABOUR CAN DEFEAT THE TORIES IN SOUTHPORT and you are doomed to political irrelevance if you cannot understand this.

You could always have a look and decide for yourself.
Of course you would have no luck trying to look up Liz Savage's achievements in Skelmersdale.

So you would never vote Conservative? You must have been really gutted when your Party sold out even more than usual and propped up a minority Tory government in 2010. How did that work out for you all?
Anyway unlike you I do not dwell in the past so please remember that these days ONLY LABOUR CAN BEAT THE TORIES IN SOUTHPORT.

On your own logic that is also a lie.

Erm, YES SHE DID... YOU need to go back and read the thread, her very first post in this thread on 13/09/17 at 0646 said:
"But what she did do is beat the LibDems into a humiliating third place in the General Election.
Remember Prasnee - only Labour can beat the Tories in Southport. I assume Labour can count on your tactical vote next time to KEEP THE TORIES OUT!"
You are wrong, YET AGAIN. You are attempting to twist the argument, YET AGAIN.
You have been weighed, you have been measured, and you have been found wanting... YET AGAIN.

Sounds like pots and kettles.
Perhaps he should spend more time representing those who voted for him.
