Run for election then instead of whinging all the time. When I worked for a large company way back in the 90's that's all I heard from employees...."Its alright for him/her having that money being a boss etc".
In many a management course I ran stock answer given " The opportunity to do what they do or have is down to you no one else"
So if you want it get out and get it! Then you might have the 17.5% rise. eh.

You conflate two distinctly different things Brown was not a good leader as I said but he was a very competent Chancellor, that is not an endorsement of his politics just an objective recognition of his abilities.
(I very much doubt I will be saying the same about John Mcdonnell)
Most countries in the world of the left or right agreed he was very good.
"Gordon Brown's rescue plan was hailed worldwide with Germany, France, Italy and other European governments saying they will follow suit. But perhaps the most notable endorsement came from Paul Krugman, who yesterday won the Nobel Prize for economics"

This tax is a unjust tax. If you earn one million pound a week you pay the highest rate that is if you decide to buy a band H house of double the average. This means in pounds terms you pay £2000 on a income of £52 million and a person who pays £ 1000 earning £20000. The person on £52 million pays a rate of just under 0.004% in tax while the person on the average wage pays pays 5%. This must be the most unjust tax going and if you have a House that is in band H you still have to pay the higher amount even though you may be on the average wage . Councils like the Health service do not serve but are like business and have to squeeze the last trop of money from the mugs like you and me.We are paying for the depression caused by greedy banks.

I know.
Liverpool City Region deals with powers devolved from central government and is funded by a grant from central government.
It does not take funding or responsibilities away from each council in the region.

Mrs Thatcher addressed most of those issues but it didn't go down well with those who have a free lunch at our expense.
I cannot see how a charge for local services can be levied on your income thats what income tax is for.
