When will Clapham anounce his next five year plan? I for one will not be giving this club any of my cash until ots is reinstated!
CLAPHAM OUT

Christmas / NewYear fixtures head to head with Fleetwood look interesting

I am not getting involved in the rights and wrongs or personal vendettas ..just want to support my local team as I have done for the past 45 years .... The efforts of the manager and players seem to have gone unnoticed by many ... last year they were close to achieving mission impossible, men against boys ..part timers ...exasipated by some terrible refereeing and gamesmanship by the so called 'big clubs' maybe just tipped the balance...
However maybe now the penny has dropped at board level , we need a better and fitter squad , with some added class and experiance .. I remember the difference Arthur Peat and later John McPhee made to similar teams ..
The town in general is losing so much ...(one look round Botanic Gardens is just one example) stop taking cheap shots and support the Port before it dissapears along with everything else we take for granted its YOUR TEAM !!!

Top post Jonstone. Peat and McPhee were great midfield generals. Aaron Turner could become our next when he recovers from injury.

Bottom three at the end of week one; up hill battle from there. Dont worry about the Christmas games with Fleetwood it will be all over by then...
McPhee and Peat with Alan Taylor behind them might be a better option that current squad.

Nice to see you ignoring the important sentiments in jonstone's post.

There is more chance of the Botanic Gardens returning to its former glory than the Sandgrounders under Charlie. I to have followed SFC for over forty years also; the league table or crowd numbers dont lie.
