Southport FC have been kicked out of the Liverpool Senior Cup after fielding an ineligible player. Defeated quarter finalists Prescot Cables will now face Tranmere in the semi final.

Sandgrounders had fielded an ineligible player in the tie and Prescot Cables have been reinstated.
