With so much going on at the Merseyrail Community Stadium, here is our squad update for this week.

Iain Turner has a persistent problem with his Right Hip, and following an MRI scan has been referred by an Orthopaedic Surgeon for further investigation, scheduled for 26th January.

Curtis Jones has been suffering from a long term back issue, with Partial Sacralisation of the 5th Lumbar Vertebrae, Curtis has resumed field based running and is undergoing a strengthening programme.

Jon-Paul Kissock has been suffering from severe migraines and blurred vision, and has been referred to a specialist for further investigation.

Josh Hine unfortunately an MRI scan has discovered an Acute High Grade injury to the Syndesmotic Ligaments as we all as Grade II sprains of AITFL, PITFL and Interosseous Ligament. Josh is booked in to see a Surgeon on 22nd January to confirm further findings and an action plan, it is planned he will be out for 10-12 weeks.

Liam Martin ruptured his ACL in the Right Knee and suffered a Medial Meniscus Tear. The Meniscus Tear has healed well, and his second operation is set for 12th February. Liam is currently undergoing a Hamstring Strengthening programme to prepare the muscle for a graft to be taken, for his second operation. Recovery will be 3-4 months post-op.
