What a week for ANTIQUES lovers and what a week for advertising SOUTHPORT!
Three shows in a week promoting OUR TOWN, SOUTHPORT!
Antique Road Show was drawn back to Southport yet again for the 10th time
James Braxton and Christina Trevanion visited Southport in a 1965 Jaguar 3.4S, hoping to fill it with antique bargains.
Pictured is Brett Griffiths with James Braxton. Brett is the one with the beard and is considered in the antique trade here and abroad as a fair and honest man. You will also see and advert for West Lancs Antiques of Burscough that's been in his family for over three generations.
And the Antique Road Show visited John Nolan's Antique shop in Portland Street, Southport; only one generation - but entering 53 years in business.
On Wednesday and Thursday, "PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS" was shown on BBC1 when Paul Hayes visited The Antiquesman to sell him a 19th century Doulton Commemorative Jug and a vessel from an early Mosque.
