With the holiday season in full swing and the sun beating down the amount of sand on the sea wall is a disgrace.

Its so long since some of the sand was moved that grass is now growing out of it.

Cyclists and pedestrians are having to avoid each other due to the lack of space.

Just another problem for our "Classic Resort"

With the amount of money the council are wasting by having the Pier deck lights on from 3pm all year round they can't afford to remove the sand as well !

You'll probably find that the staff whom used to clear this no longer work for the Council - something to do with austerity and the resulting cuts I believe - do try and keep up old fruit.

If the amount of personal money you had coming in was not enough to pay for your necessary expenses - you would either increase the money coming in - or you would streamline your expense account! So ANY government would either have to increase taxes or make cutbacks to ensure that the National Debt is not increased further! Common sense really!

But after all the streamlining, cut backs, redundancies etc the national debt has risen by 3/4 trillion pound since the tories took over in 2010. What have they done with all the money.

You've almost got it - the only thing that has reduced is the deficit, i.e. the rate at which the debt is going up. The debt itself is still going up, just not quite as fast as it was. So there is no money, the country's national debt is still increasing.

There IS still money though. There always will be in a sovereign nation that issues it's own currency. We've been constantly in debt for over 300 years.
