This private hire vehicle was parked on zigzags on Lord Street, Southport. They were reported and provided a negative drugwipe @DrugWipeUK

If he was picking up at one of the restaurants or small bars,then where else can you expect him to park for customers to see their PH vehicle ? I do exactly the same thing,park as near as possible for customers to be able to see.Quite a few eateries or bars have no parking available outside them on Lord St which makes it difficult to park as close as possible to pick up from.

Taxi drivers do not have special dispensation when it comes to traffic laws, although seeing some of the "classy" parking when picking up or dropping off I do wonder.

Yesterday afternoon there was a PH Taxi parked for ages outside the Bold Hotel he parked right on the corner of Seabank Rd causing problems for cars turning into Seabank and also pedestrians crossing Seabank at the Lord St junc. Southport seems to have more than the average amount of private hire taxi's along with the total disregard of ALL traffic regulations by their drivers.
