Three youths were seen throwing fireworks at the Swans in the Kings Gardens last night.

None of the Swans appeared to be injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call Merseyside Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Should have got a picture of the faces, however the individual on the right seems to be female. Local scum.

How appalling. I hope that someone who loves the swans reports these nasty little youths ASAP. They will be know by someone.

As the photo was taken in Lord Street, I am guessing that this is just a stock photo of any random 3 youths, not the arseholes in question.

Never mind if they love swans or not I would hope that anyone with a shred of common decency who recognises these little charmers would shop them.
Similarly I would hope that if their parents recognise them then they go on to have a full and frank exchange of views on the matter.
With the first instance I don't hold out much hope as their peers and families will invariably trot out that hackneyed bye line of 'I'm norra a grass'.

When there is a lynch mob mentality any 3 will do. I think the CORRECT three should be publicly horsewhipped but if found they will probably come up against some bleeding heart Magistrate who is clueless as to a suitable punishment.

The photo is genuine.

I think they must be from elsewhere as i am sure i saw these three heading up to Birkdale station last night. I took note as it was shortly after i heard a firework go off that i saw them - so i suspected they had set one off but couldn't have been sure !

I didn't see their faces but there were three of they - two guys and a girl !
